Remember Tim Tebow? A year ago at this time, Tebow threw the game winning TD on the first play of OT to help the Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wildcard Game at Sports Authority Field. Tebow was then dealt to the New York Jets in one of the most head-scratching moves of the 2012 offseason, and we all remember what happened...or didn't happen with Tebow in New York. Now, could the end be near for the former Heisman Trophy winner?

As much as Jaguars' owner Shahid Khan would like to land Tebow as a tool to sell season tickets at what's now called Everbank Field in Jacksonville, new Jaguar GM Dave Caldwell appeared to throw cold water on such talk just hours into his new job. Caldwell made such remarks this morning as he was officially introduced as Jacksonville's new GM in a press conference. His remarks can be found here:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... omecoming/

There's been speculation from the likes of ESPN's Chris Mortensen that Tebow would be a no-brainer down in Jacksonville, especially when also considering the small-market franchise has also been mentioned in the NFL's ongoing relocation talk about returning to Los Angeles.

If Tebow doesn't land in Jacksonville, where does he land? Might his days in the NFL be over, too?

Hey,besides Tebow, what happened to the "wildcat" formation this year? Was it still prevalent? If coaches soured on that,Tebow is done.

Tim Tebow would immediately be the best TE on the Bears roster. Sooner or later some team must make this move.

I don't believe I have ever seen Tebow catch a ball or run a route.

I think you are confusing him with Devin Hester 2012.

Same goes for Kellen Davis.

There was talk right after the Jets were eliminated from the playoff picture when HC Rex Ryan bypassed Tebow in favor of third-stringer Greg McElroy for that game vs. the Chargers that Timmy was so disgusted in not starting, he didn't want to be just a wildcat QB. Tebow supposedly denied that, but Ryan's mind was made up when WR Justin Keller was used as a wildcat QB instead.

Also, he may have been in uniform despite a late season rib injury, but Ryan seemed to stick it to Tebow when he stuck with the just as rotten Mark Sanchez at QB, even when Jet fans wanted Tebow to replace him to give the New York offense a spark.

All that said, the questions about Tebow haven't gone away since he was originally drafted #25 overall in Denver about 4 years ago. There were questions about Tebow's arm dating back to before Denver used a late first round pick on the guy. Although he did throw the winning TD in that OT playoff game vs. Pittsburgh a year ago, I thought Tebow got way too much credit from the media for the Broncos winning the AFC West. The defense was the reason why the Broncos won their division, not Tebow.

Mike McCoy knew exactly what to do with Tebow & won a division title & beat the Steelers with him. Rex Ryan had no fucking clue what to do with Tebow. Actually, he had no clue what to do with dirty Sanchez either.

Doesn't this CFL coach have some kind of relationship with Tebow?

Point the finger at Jets' owner Woody Johnson. He wanted the gimmick right after the Jets decided to extend Mark Sanchez's contract. He's earning $12 million this year, the same salary as the Patriots' Tom Brady. However, that's where the similarities end. Sanchez doesn't have the Super Bowl rings, let alone the model/wife Brady has in Gisele Bundchen.

In fact, if Eva Longoria from "Desperate Housewives" fame wanted nothing to do with Sanchez, what does that tell you?

I find it difficult to believe Tebow cannot find employment in a league that employs Hanie.

Nothing, really.

No, according to her Wikipedia page, Eva's actually from Corpus Christi, TX. The actress was an item with Mark Sanchez, albeit briefly, after her marriage to Spurs' PG Tony Parker ended in divorce in 2010.
