If Smith can continue to be the guy that he was under Harbaugh this is a nice trade for KC. They can upgrade the QB position and now solidify the OL by taking the best LT in the draft. They have some pretty nice pieces to go around them in Charles, Bowe, Moeaki. However, I am not sold on the fact that Smith can play at that same level away from Harbaugh. But I hope I am wrong. |

I don't know the x's and o's of how Reid coaches an offense but i know his qb's take a beating.....and Alex Smith does not need to take a beating. |

It's also my understanding the Chiefs will NOT draft a quarterback #1 overall in the NFL Draft if this deal becomes a reality. |
