http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/futuresport/201307/nfl-teams-innovative-use-video-board The Jaguars are considering showing the redzone channel on their new jumbotron. They reason it is for the fantasy football fan. I contend its because no one at a Jags game actually wants to watch them play. |

I like it. Now Jacksonville JORR and Jacksonville Bucky Chris can go take in a Jags game together and both will enjoy themselves. |

They've been blacked out of the red zone for years. Ho ho ho! |

Fucking fantasy football, man. Dungeons & Dragons for the guys who would beat other kids up for liking Dungeons & Dragons. It was bad enough when RedZone made watching any non-scoring play irrelevant. Now you can't even watch a game in person without caring more about watching another team score. |

I am starting to detest all things NFL. |

it's a pretty cynical thing for jacksonville specifically since they know their product is so bad. but it does say something about the short attention span you're implementing to football fans. look at this! now look at this! it's fine at home when you want to catch as much action as possible. but if you're at the game, the reason you're there is because you are a fan of one of the teams playing. doing something like this is like if you're a parent at your kid's game and all you're doing is watching other kids' games on your iPhone or something. it's disingenuous. |

I agree in principle, but it seems like the Jags are catering to the distracted viewing styles of the modern fan. Ironically, I see broadcasting other games at the stadium as way to replicate the viewing experience at one's home, rather than the other way around. I also think they're going to allow pets in during all games. Cynical but rational comments about this being one way to deflect attention away from the sorry product on the field aside, the obvious goal is to entice fans to come enjoy a day at the stadium, irrespective of the team's performance. |

Look on the bright side. Other than RB Maurice Jones-Drew, what's appealing about the Jaguars anyway? QB Chad Henne? The deer in headlights Blaine Gabbert? |

This has got to be the beginning of the end for this franchise in Jacksonville. |
