If only he were able to jump out of a swimming pool without using his hands he would have been. |

1. Coach Lewis has gotten HUGE!!! 2. Mike Tirico is fat too. The suits and camera profile hide it well. But the Hard knocks shots of him didn't. 3. John Gruden always has to be the center of attention. Always loud. Always an ass. That guy would just get annoying. I can tell the ESPN crew and especially Tirico are sick of dealing with him. It comes across during the games with Tirico. It came across on Hard Knocks when they were in a production meeting. 4. That number 1 draft pick tight end from ND is living with a teammate. A guy with a wife and 3 small kids. What the hell? You got signing bonus money. Had to be a couple of million. Go get an apartment. Why the hell would you want to live with a family? Why would they want him to live with them. |

Why wouldn't they prioritize him? The same goes for Herzlich the year before. At least they got James Brown. The goal should be to find at least a practice squad player each year out of those UDFA. |

This was the 1st time I've seen this show. Very cool. Really illuminates what a weird, insulated, brutal world pro football is. the Bengals will be my second team this year. They've got a lot of good looking young players. And yea, Marvin might want to hit exercise bike. GD and Ken, good call on Vontaze. The Bears don't like to take the obvious guy. They have to outsmart everyone. |

They didn't have to take him. He went undrafted. I would have never advocated them taking him anytime before the 6th round. There were many red flags and they were well earned from my observation of his play (I still remember him absolutely dogging it in a bowl game then taking cheap shots well after the game got out of hand). After that time, why not if you have a need. On the other hand, I would have taken Alphonso Dennard under the same conditions. I guess you have to call it a win if a late round pick ever becomes a starter for you but obviously he continues to have his problems. |
