I'd love to think the Pack were going to 1-2 but I think the Bengals may be overhyped.

Overhyped by whom?

Their strengths are only on the defensive line (although they didn't sack Cutler once) and WR/TE. Other than that they're average to below average everywhere else. Dalton has been inconsistent and they're banged up at linebacker and the secondary. I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers throws for three touchdowns.

Cincinnati: 27
Green Bay: 24

I heard fairly often before the season that they are a super bowl contender. Looking into Dalton's numbers, he is a bum slayer.

Why is Oakland a Monday night team? Before the season started, I would have said MNF should only feature the following teams on MNF:

NYG
Chicago
Houston
GB
Baltimore
Seattle
SF
NE
Steelers
ATL
NO
Denver
Dallas

Probably missing a few here, but yeah, no other teams should be featured.

With the Bears sheer dominance over the Bengals in Week 1, I'd have to agree with why you left the Bengals off your list. They're not worthy of national TV.

That's all well and good, but how is the synergy?

Ask Coach Trestman JD.

Sunday night has been the marquee game since 2006; Monday Night Football is just the old ESPN gutter game with a little more panache. It was always either Jaguars-Titans or a game that felt like Jaguars-Titans.

I like how the 49ers completely do not give a shit that Aldon Smith blew a .15 at 7 am after being found by police having crashed his vehicle into a tree with his foot still on the gas and basically doing a burnout. Say something assholes. Say something more than the NFL will handle this and we expect him to play Sunday. Being shitfaced and crashing your car at 7 am is a hell of a lot more dangerous than at 2 am. You have way more traffic and you have kids walking to school potentially and more pedestrians in general.

So...is Tom Coughlin fired? Two bad blowouts, one to a very bad team. The team has no life, no rushing attack, no anything, really.

One set of downs against Carolina went like this:

1st and 10: Eli Manning sacked for a four yard loss
2nd and 14: David Wilson rushes up the middle for a four yard loss
3rd and 19: Eli Manning throws a five yard pass
4th and 14: Punt

And it's just been a repeat of that, more or less, all game. Just bad for a veteran team that won the SB not too long ago.

Fuck you Leslie Fraizer. Oh, and Christian Ponder.....I hope you get SARS. I spent an hour plotting out my elimination confidence pool this week. Minnesota at home against Cleveland? Nice. I don't have to waste Seattle yet. I really hope Christian Ponder eats a big meal, and immediately goes in the pool. Jerks.

Holy shit, the Giants are bad. The Eli-Peyton debate is silly.

I've had time to think about my reaction to the Vikings/Browns game. Perhaps I wasn't thinking clearly. I hope Christian Ponder's wife sleeps with Skip Bayless, and Skip Bayless proceeds to discuss the sex on whatever dumb show he's on.

i believe one year they started out 0-4, then went on to win the super bowl. this team is impossible to figure out. i got a friend who is a giants fan and he probably needs a weekly therapist because of them.

they're either winning the superbowl or looking like they don't belong in the NFL. eli is going to be a very hard decision to make for consideration for the HOF. How do you not induct a 2 time Super Bowl MVP? Well...

Nah.

In 2007 they started 2-2 and won the Superbowl.

In 2011 they started 3-1 and won the Superbowl.

did they start 0-2 then? i wanna say they started out badly one year and then won the super bowl.

I think they just played like shit and started out 0-4 one of the years after the super bowl.

Richardson averaging 2.6 for the Colts today. They are winning but it has little to do with him. Defense looks impressive. Erik Walden must be injured for them.

yeah in 07 they started 0-2.

No doubt they have looked like shit at times. But I will take looking like shit and getting a couple rings along the way.

49ers cheated on Richardson for almost all of his carries. Worked to Colts benefit. However they didn't bother respecting the run nearly as much when Bradshaw and Brown were back there. Great win. Makes up for that stupid loss against the Dolphins at home. I'll take it.
