Last night Ed Hochuli made a very strange and rambling announcement that no penalty was called on a play because somebody (presumably one or more officials) was "stretching out balls."

I am assuming that he meant footballs, since it was in the middle of a football game. Plus, the alternative sounds painful, and not at all something one would do voluntarily.

What in the world does this mean? Are footballs stretched out routinely during games.

Only Ed can stretch footballs as he is so buffed.

Let's be real. Sometimes you need to stretch them out.

Keep them loose. It's just the right thing to do.

Agree, but dont need Ed Hochuli telling everyone about it

"Bears game will be delayed while Dr ken stretches his balls...please start the clock on his command"
