I understand where you are coming from with the cash poor angle but this franchise is worth over a billion dollars, generates profits yearly and the owner only paid about $5,000 for the team. They have money to operate if they want it.

It's like an old lady owning a home in Lincoln Park without any mortgage and complaining about gentrification raising property taxes.
