Romo won't get the opportunity to choke on Sunday...apparently his back is ouchey and he's out for the season.

I think we know where BRick has been now...

Jerry Jones:

America:

No way Orton can pull this off. Romo makes his line look better than what they are by his mobility. They're a bad O-line and Orton will get hit a lot. Then he'll throw picks. Then it will get worse.

Not anymore. Only can happen if Dallas wins.

NBC wishes they knew this yesterday. They want Bears-Packers now.

Yes I would expect him to perform better than Flynn. Flynn is not very good.

Right now, as we speak, Jerry Jones is on all fours working on Tony Romo's back. I'm not kidding.

Jerry: Is this better, Tony?

Tony: No.

Jerry: Does this hurt, Tony?

Tony: Yes.

Jerry: Son of a bitch!!!! You will play. I'll get you all the drugs you need. You will play!!!!

Garrett is just saying that to keep Philly spending some time preparing for Romo. He's got a herniated disc. He's done. He's gonna need surgery.

This is true. He doesn't have to officially say anything today, so he's not. But he's out, JG said they are signing a QB.

It's Gonna Happen.

Romo is treated unfairly imo. When he's maligned it's usually after a 33-37 loss in which he throws a pick six that decides the game, like I think he did against Denver in what was something like a 48-51 loss. My problem with that is what is it about Romo's 35-40 points that isn't to like, and why is it Romo's fault for not stopping the opposing teams' offenses.

I still have the Cowboys winning this game. I'm willing to put a small wager on this too.

This line opened at Dallas -2.5, now Philly -7

My guy didnt have the -2.5, but I have to imagine many jumped on that line the second it came out and are now feeling REALLY good about this one!

Seeing the Eagles played late Sunday night, I guess most didnt get a look at the line until Monday morning when these guys plan on being there anyways for these types of wagers.

congrats to the few

The line opened at Philly -2.5 when I looked last night. Still a big move to 7, though.

Vegas knew the public would pound the Eagles once the Romo injury was announced. They had to get it to a number where they could entice Dallas money. Putting it at 7 will do it. A full touchdown is a key number in vegas. That's pretty much telling you that Vegas is begging you to take the dog. Some books have it at 7.5 already. That hook is also key to many. All they want is 50-50 action.

I still don't think they'll get 50-50, It will be at least 65-35 on Philly even at this number. But they can't go much higher than 7.5.

Per vegasinsider it opened as Dallas -2.5

They will take the -2.5 from anywhere they found it. Online, etc

funny thing, still no Chi/GB line

Ortmans first 3 years here he was really bad. One simple reason was that he had a weak arm. He couldnt throw downfield and had no zip on the ball.

He said he rededicated himself to working out and the result was very clear. He could throw further, more velocity, etc. Could throw a crisp 20 yard pass.

So I think it took some work for him to get to that point.

I am just guessing here, but that time is well past him and he is just collecting the check these days. For him to be thrown into the starting role here is going to be a total disaster.

Let me just you the scenario of 2 passes thrown behind Dez Bryant....ya know how that will go.

Maybe the guy is totally ready? But my guess is that he isnt close.

Romo had back surgery today. 2nd back surgery in less than 2 years. I think Cowboys could still win this game but they are not a true superbowl contender,...so what's the point? If / when they lose...better draft position I guess.
