| Post subject: | Rodgers escape trick? |
Watching the SF/GB game with my GB family last night and Rodgers makes that one play where he somehow escaped the sack. Got the other side of the family tossing out the "Amazing" call. HE IS AMAZING. I said, it was pretty impressive, but I need to see a replay of how he escaped a guy who had his arm around him?

that would be because of a major hold by an OL behind Rodgers. |

Any QB can escape and look great if holding is never called. GB wasn't called for holding against the Bears. |

Even with the holding all you have to do is grab his throwing arm instead of swiping for the ball hoping for a fumble. The play is over if they incapacitate Rodgers by securing his arm, and perhaps a holding penalty is called on SF once the refs see what GB is doing to the DL who is holding Rodgers arm. |

You can't hit Rodgers as part of the logical conclusion to a play but he is also not down when he is fully in the grasp of two players. |

Are you saying someone can't come in and tackle him while a different player is holding him in whatever position? I don't know the answer, honest question. |
