CBS Sports wrote: Mark Sanchez believes he's 'just entering the prime of my career' It's kind of difficult to think about Mark Sanchez on any team other than the Jets. But he's a member of the Eagles now and he's determined to make the most of it. Despite the presence of Nick Foles as Philly's starter and Matt Barkley with a year under his belt, Sanchez thinks he can make a difference. He also said he's "just entering" the "prime" of his career and his shoulder injury last year could've been "a blessing in disguise." "Maybe this whole shoulder thing and relocation has just been a blessing in disguise," Sanchez said. "Maybe that year off was exactly what I needed. Got a little rest for my legs, for my arm, and I feel great." |

wasn't there a period of time where the sanchize was considered to be a legit up and coming QB in the NFL because he had just led the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! into back to back AFC championship games by being some sort of a prodigious game managing QB? i reckon there's some ppl on the board who would say that "winning = everything" and theoretically should make an argument that no matter how ugly the stats are the only thing that truly matters for a QB is his W/L record, because in the end you're not out there to put up 3500-4000/+ yards and 30+ TD.... you're out there to win ballgames, that is, until brian kenney and bernstein sit you down and have a talk with you and tell you that wins are meaningless in terms of measuring the quantitative quality of a professional athlete. we DO exist in the "participation trophy" epoch of life, after all. the social contract of sports has changed from W.I.N./T. to "hey at least you went out there and gave it your all, because that's all that you can do" because if we brandish a kid as being a loser.... well hasn't recent news taught us that there's a small chance the kid might go out there and try to enact a plan to slaughter a whole fraternity of BEAUTIFUL. BLONDE. WOMEN. and fuck that up and end up killing a few heifers because MISOGYNY KILLS (the #1 feminist punk rock band in the elgin scene) |
