I think he should be in jail for 5 years, obviousely some judge in Texas feels that whipping kids is OK. I am all for what the NFL has done. The one I don't undersstand is the DCFS. I know 3 of my friends who have had some serious issues with DCFS intervening for reason far less than this. None of them even had physical contact as the issue, all based around teachers filing anonymous reports regarding actions or words of the kids. To have imprints on a kids skin of a belt buckle and bloody marks from being whipped, and the kid is 4 years old done time after time. Kudos to the NFL for investigating it and seeing peterson shows ZERO remorse. Once again, it's the NFL, it's not the law. AP isnt locked up, he is free to go work anywhere else he wants, just not in the NFL. |

It's possible he has no remorse, but I wonder if AP was told by his attorney that the best defense would be to go all-in with "that's the way I was reared and it's just tradition where I come from." |
