playoff caliber teams throughout the day and important games

Except for that Noon game between 2 non-playoff teams who will just be good enough to not get a high draft pick.

Having all division games is nice though. 3pm and the nite game are definitely important.

Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday for many reason.

-Football....and being a Cowboys fan they "always" have played this day.
-Four day weekend (typically)
-High School Football - Championship games all weekend
-No stress about shopping / gifts
-Food, food, and food...
-Family...

Looking forward to watching Bears & Cowboys games this Thursday.

I loved watching the Bears play on turkey day as a kid when I had no responsibilities for hosting anybody. I could just be a dumb slug on the couch.

Kind of sucks now amidst all the turkey frying though. I will enjoy the Bears pregame while beer drinking and turkey frying in the morning.

On non-Bear days in the past, it was Rock Mamola and Joe O interviewing Mike Remlinger on his boat in Florida for 30 minutes. While I always appreciated that kind of randomness, this will be better.

1. Mass
2. Start cooking
3. Start drinking
4. Parents arrive - accelerate drinking pace
5. Eat
6. Do dishes (two hours)
7. Lie on coach like a POS until bed time

Is there a delineation of where Wed ends and Thursday begins in the 2/3 area? Mass is Wed night and drinking usually commences shortly after.

Thanksgiving is great but the Bears suck. Other than that everything you said is fine.

Bears game will surely ruin the appetite of everyone in Illinois. Will definitely increase the drunken buffoonery, though.

I work full days Wednesday and Friday. Kinda sucks. Likely will not partake in any (or many) Thanksgiving drinks, but will on Wednesday nite :drunken:

If the Bears are losing/playing horribly then the game is just background noise.

Be careful on Wednesday as I've heard and read about several "no refusal" cop-stops! Just don't drink & drive!

We don't plan to leave the house, but if we do our local watering hole is within walking distance.

no, but I may lash out verbally. I must remember to mediate and pray throughout the day.

None of these games matter. Patriots/Packers is the only game anybody should care about this week. Brady's going down.

You must have watched a different Packer team than I did yesterday, I have zero confidence the defense will stop Brady.

Ridiculous. Jaguars and Raiders on Thanksgiving would get huge ratings and interest. People love football on Thanksgiving, regardless of the teams playing.

Me either. It doesn't matter. Rodgers is going to top whatever Brady does, and then point and laugh at him. He might even somehow eclipse a 158.3 QB rating. It's going to be historical.

So GB has its own Nas I guess, except when GB Nas goes over the top it's still kinda sorta plausible. :D
