A severely mentally deficient person can tell the difference, without having to look, between walking on solid ground versus, say, a human leg ... just a slight bit of, oh, let's call it 'topographical dichotomy' between the two "surfaces".

Last week's events are clear and neither need, nor merit, further discussion as to what did or did not occur.

This example, while perhaps not as visually appalling as whosits' dickery last week, ultimately approaches the same level of asshatery in that Suh not once, but twice, steps on a person's anatomy rather than flat ground and is very clearly not in a hurry to (a) alter his path, or (b) move to more solid footing as would any person not interested first and foremost in causing insult and/or injury.
