Many times if you have the #1 pick, you have the deal ready for the player, you have decided on the player, etc.

TB wont let anyone know, including the players.

Lovie looking to trade down?

I've heard Hub and others say that Lovie would never coach a player that beat a women, let alone raped one. That's his line. Violence against women.

I always laugh when they say this because they all fail to realize...HE COACHED BRANDON MARSHALL.

And I don't ever understand that move, why make a commitment when some sucker (Ditka) might offer you there whole draft. Keep all options open until you have to pull the trigger.

If you feel that the player you are getting is the clear cut #1, best guy. Many QB's drafted are not worth a teams full draft board..Gotta have a QB~

Lovie Smith will be out of a job in two years. They picked the wrong QB in Winston. Did you hear Gruden just lay into the guy because of INTs and pre-snap penalties? Mariota was the guy they should have gotten (or as commish Goodell called him, "Mariato"-what an idiot). Can pass and run with excellent speed. He looks like a Kaerpernick type QB, before Kaerpernick forgot how to play football.
