year after year after year they are winners in the draft

every year, value falls to them. They don't overthink it. They just scoop it up and move on to another post season.

I would call it luck but it seems to happen every draft.

The gold standard of NFL franchises in my opinon

Both are great. I love how loyal the Steelers have been to their coaches. 3 in the past 40 years or something like that? Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin are all I can recall. That's impressive in this "can't fire the players" era.

Last couple years Steelers not so good actually. Cupboard getting bare and they needed to hit this draft. Jarvis Jones and that Ohio St. linebacker from last year have been busts so far.

All of them. GB, NE, PITT....these are how the people at the top see the organization being run.

Just look at the 30 year history of some of these teams. Look at the Bears, Cleve, Buffalo.....overall grades of D's....thats not just bad luck.

of course you will always have a great season over 30 years, but for the most part, the consitancy good and bad is a result of how ownership runs an organization.

Agree, but had quite a run of succes....wasnt just one year they had a 13-3 record, because they played a last place schedule and then got a ass beating in the playoffs....but still loved hanging up the award of the fridge about the great record.

Right BF. Even leave out NE, GB and Pitt. Just look at the teams that have been up gone down and back up again a couple times over 30 years. To be completely inept for 30 years is ridiculous in the NFL.

Right they are not terrible and can win division this year on offense alone. They simply have been unlucky the last few years in the draft. Unusual for them.

Last night was pure luck. Dupree is a top-10 player and of course, of fucking course, he falls right to the Steelers. Unreal.
