Patriots release LB Brandon Spikes after his car found abandoned http://sports.yahoo.com/news/police-car ... -nfl.html# This is pretty draconian by the Patriots. The guy gets in an accident, leaves his car and is now out of a job? Shouldn't the Pats have at least waited until there were charges filed against Spikes before firing him? What if the car simply wasn't operable after the accident and he just had not towed it yet? |

Now you have to cut guys for this in today's new NFL climate. |

Now you have to cut guys for this in today's new NFL climate. briggs was lucky and didnt hit another driver or person... big difference in these cases spikes hit another car and drove away |
