If the receiver is open, it's an easy touchdown. Play call was perfect. |

wouldnt a perfect play call have resulted in an open receiver and a touchdown? the play call was bad, and elis decision to throw it away was also bad. |

Sometimes the play is well defended. They are professionals, too. The play call was perfect. Roll to the right, if the WR is open, hit him, if not, slide in bounds, and let the clock run. |

that may have been a good call for a team with a defense that knew they could hold dallas if they failed to score a TD and had to settle for a FG, but if they were going to throw there, it should have been play action, something eli is good at. eli is not going to run one in, so bootlegging him there made no sense. that team needed a td there, not a throwaway play where you settle for 3. even coughlin acknowledged it was a terrible call. |

You want to see some bad coaching, send Coughlin to the Lions, and take Jim Caldwell. I would make that trade in a second. |

The clock management was horrible throughout the last few minutes, but Eli throwing it away lowered the Giants win expectancy more than any other single decision. |
