“He’s from Dallas,” Bennett said of Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. “They killed President [John F. Kennedy]. I hold that against him.”

I blame Martellus and Michael's parents for not paying enough attention to them

Dunno, he comes across as a mix of Otis Sistrunk & Fred Smerlas. The shield could use more goofy personality in players that matter.

Instead of hearing about the tired deep dish pizza or Pikes Place Market, I'd rather hear about a goofy remark out of the Bennett brothers' mouths.

Comparing Cutler to Jesus would certainly qualify.

I'd like to think that he tossed that one in as a shot at the overly religious. I'd like to think that, but I'm pretty sure it was a flippant goofy remark in the glow of a win. Either way, it's a nice chuckle for me.

And Michael isn't wrong about Dallas being reason enough....sue me.

When B&B had the Martellus Bennett show a few years ago I said listening to an interview with him was like listening to Phoebe from Friends. Michael doesn't seem to be much different.

That show might have been an all-time low for the Score.

They turned an amusing 3-minute conversation with Bennett into a season-long death march of crazy thoughts that B&B tried hard to sell as outrageously entertaining. The thoughts were neither.

The book club was great though.

I always got the impression Martellus went into the show with an agenda of saying something that would get him national recognition rather than it occurring naturally

well being on a national sports team he would naturally have to say something to get recognized

It all started with Martellus comparing Marc Trestman to Willie Wonka.

It's been all downhill ever since...
