It would be interesting to see the list of pundits that stated Chip Kelly would work. Even moreso would be those that thought Eagles ownership giving him full power was smart. |

Not sure if I qualify as a pundit, but as a guy who loves college football, I was looking forward to Kelly bringing his offense to the NFL and I thought he would be successful. I think the biggest problem for Kelly and the Eagles is that Chip has complete control over the roster, not his system. I thought that the players that he got rid of were better suited to his sysyem than the players that he brought in. |

I underdstand why some might say his system would work, the problem is that it doesnt work enough. Then when you see this instant huddle, quick offense, running in and out crap, it all looks like a well oiled machine. Ever seen that GOLD RUSH show. When those machines are shaking out the dirt and finding the gold, while guys are pouring diirt in, it all looks great...and then a $10 spring breaks and everything shuts down for 3 days. |

I agree that handing the keys to this guy was a mistake. Who the fuck actually trades for Sam Bradford? But the rest of the division is so pathetic the Eagles could still end up in the playoffs. All depends on how soon Romo gets back. |
