Aaron Rodgers in his first 14 playoff games:
8-6
1 Super Bowl win

Peyton Manning in his first 14 playoff games:
7-7
1 Super Bowl win

Does Aaron Rodgers start to get the label of "Can't get it done in the playoffs" too?

Yes

Also, everyone is so ready to blame his regression on a lack of Jordy Nelson but I think we saw on Saturday there is more to it than his absence. This may just be the natural outcome of aging.

Sure.

Though, I like my chances with him the next 10 years more than maybe 3 other QBs.

Is Ben Roethlisberger his Tom Brady?

In his first 14 playoff games, Big Ben was 10-4.

Brady was 12-2 in his first 14.

Can't wait to revisit this when Jay plays his 14th playoff game.

I made this comparison last year and it was shot down right away by Packer fans.

Every year that Rodgers goes without winning another Superbowl the more like Manning he becomes.

Not true. Manning's offensive supporting cast has been great nearly every year he's been in the league. His team's were one of the best if not the best in football for most of those years. Rodgers hasn't had some of the same luxuries.

What's the stat? GB has lost 5 playoff games on the last play of the game? Only once was Rodgers on the field for the last play. That's more on MM than ARod.

Amazing how people will look to find excuses for Rodgers, yet wouldn't except the same for Manning.

I think multiple championships is an unreasonable expectation in a league as difficult to dominant as the NFL is. Thats too much to expect out of a single player, even if it is the QB. Besides I thought the knock on Manning was him no showing during big post season games. I doubt anyone could accuse Rodgers of choking this past weekend.

I agree it is unreasonable, but if it is unreasonable for Rodgers then it is for Manning as well.

I can't decide if you were a bigger penis as Kirkwood or as Archie

It looks like Peyton and Rodgers both have 4 playoff losses of 7 points or less in the first 14 games.

No it isn't. Manning's teams have been one of the best in the league and lost because he sucked.

His numbers were pretty poor up until the last drive.

In fact, his numbers in the playoffs after the Super Bowl win are pretty pedestrian too. He only had one game you'd consider great since then.

Why was he always on the team that was the best in the league?

Rodgers Losses:
Cardinals 51 Packers 45
Giants 37 Packers 20
49ers 45 Packers 31
49ers 23 Packers 20
Seahawks 28 Packers 22
Cardinals 26 Packers 20

I could see Giants being on him but defense that year was historically awful. Seahawks loss you could find fault for not punching in TDs.

I think they were favorites in the Giants game only.

Because he's the best and most consistent regular season QB in NFL history.

Some more context:

Rodgers playoff QB rating: 98
Manning playoff QB rating: 88

If the worst insult about Rodgers is that he's only slightly better than Peyton Manning in the regular season and playoffs, I'm good with that. Not everyone can be Brady.

Yup.

Everyone acts like his teams were great every year. It is highly unlikely that his teams were great. He made them great.

It also looks like Manning failed to score 20 points in all but one of the losses and Rodgers scored at least 20 in every loss.

What's your overall point though? That Brady, and to a much lesser degree Ben, have had more playoff success than Rodgers? That's just objectively true. Nothing really to argue about, which isn't your style.

Because he's arguably the greatest regular season QB ever and because he had great talent around him on offense. He consistently choked in the playoffs.

I made the point in my first post: "Does Aaron Rodgers start to get the label of "Can't get it done in the playoffs" too?"

It's more about the unfair treatment of Manning, unless we are willing to do the same to Rodgers.

This becomes even more accurate if Rodgers fails to play in two more Super Bowls, or three if Peyton throws wounded ducks to dominate the Patriots this weekend.
