I don't think they ever end up in Los Angeles. No one seems to want them there anyway. San Diego will get something done. |

I think Kroenke wants them there so they can pay him rent. Does San Diego want them? They have the beach and Herb Lawrence, being a 'football city' doesn't seem as necessary. Also it seems like California is taking the lead in not bankrolling stadiums. |

Having spent a few seasons in SD....I would say that they have a pretty huge fanbase there but most people would rather bbq or go to the bar and watch them on tv than go to the game. The stadium location kinda blows as it in the valley next to nothing. There is no way they have room downtown to house a stadium. I think they should go south to Chula Vista but I think the city pretty much wants them in the valley. |

Location is so overrated when it comes to football stadiums. You don't need a neighborhood around it to make a day/night of it like a ballpark or arena, because with only eight real dates per year, it's hardly a good symbiotic relationship. I mean, you drive to the game, get drunk in a parking lot like the classy folks you are, watch the game, and go home. The Patriots play in bumfucking nowhere halfway to Providence and it's never been an issue while the team has been good. The Bears have done the city no good with their ugly stadium hanging on the lakefront like a wet fart. They should have just moved to Elk Grove Village. |

Well, there's also no neighborhood around Soldier Field per-se. But that's generally true of football venues: in the middle of nowhere. Cowboys at Arlington is the closest I know of something being around the stadium, what with Six Flags, Rangers, and NE corner of Arlington being busy spots. |

I still think they end up staying in San Diego long-term. I can't see them being tenants to the Rams financially advantageous to some kind of deal in San Diego. May not be all the free public tax money they'd like, but they'll get something. |

They'd be out half a billion right out of the gate just by relocating. Conversely, the NFL is offering them free money to stay. They'd be crazy not to work things out in San Diego. Insisting on downtown over Mission Valley is just being bitchy, though. Mission Valley is fine. |
