Very memorable career. As much as I dislike Seattle, I'll miss watching him play. That run against New Orleans in the playoffs was something else.

Getting schooled by Rick on drug references. Should probably just call it a day and try to do better tomorrow.

Well, that is my plan if I ever decide to start doing drugs. Just go looking for shoes on wires.

If the stories that he has been living strictly off of his endorsement money are true, and he hasn't touched a penny of his salary other than his agent's fees and income tax, he's the most intelligent SOB in the entire sport. He deserves the right to spend the rest of his life doing absolutely nothing he doesn't want to do.

Isn't Gronk doing the same thing as far as never touching his salary income and only using endorsement money?

how much are their endorsement money?

maybe not the same as nba, which is international, because derrick rose has made FAR more off endorsements than he has salary

I guess "better career" is pretty vague, but isn't it fair to say Marshawn Lynch had a better career than Calvin Johnson? Was just talking about this with a coworker and he thought the suggestion was absurd. I don't know... Calvin's the more talented player, but 30 years from now I would think I'm much more likely to remember Lynch playing than Calvin. Maybe not though.

Lynch has more memorable post season plays for obvious reasons but Calvin Johnson was the best receiver in the game for multiple seasons and at no point in his career was Lynch better than top 3.

9 years isn't a very lengthy career if you're looking to be a HOF-bound wide receiver. may as well put terrell davis in if you're going to put johnson in.

I don't think Calvin will make the HOF, nor does he deserve to, IMO.

Besides the #1 overall that year, the top 15 players drafted in 2007 is a pretty great group.
