This should ensure that Dwight Howard plays his whole career with the Magic.

Dwight Howard is way worse than Lebron IMO.

The GM Otis Smith was fired too but that was at least deserved. Now let's see where Dwight trades himself this summer.

Out of the three doesn't Carmelo look the best? He was upfront with what he wanted and never wavered and gave Denver at least a year notice. LeBron left Cleveland hangin'

There are just 2 places Dwight Howard probably would want to go since he crossed the Bulls & Lakers off the list, FavreFan. One of them is building a new arena and just unveiled black & white as their new team colors. The other already has an NBA Championship and has an owner that's not afraid to make a bold move. Those teams...Brooklyn with the new colors and new arena, the Barclays Center, and the other is Dallas.

Regardless of how you feel about Van Gundy as a coach, losing Otis Smith makes today's moves a net positive.

I wasn't surprised at first to hear this since Dwight basically set the terms that would allow him to stay, but I'm still hearing that he wants out badly, so what the hell is the point of firing one of the better coaches in the league?

To be fair, as good as Stan Van Jeremy is, players HATE playing for him.

That matters in today's "Lets get together and win a title and just chill" NBA

I really can't imagine how either team says no to a Dwight for Bynum swap right now. It would be the most sensical trade in years.
