It goes like this... I've seen more defensive fouls that should have been charges than I'd like to remember. I've seen numerous charge calls where the defender is still sliding his feet. Ive even seen a handful of offensive fouls where the defender's foot was just barely inside the restricted area... NbA officiating is pretty bad. To spend page after page in a thread bitching about the officating in the nba finals is repetitive and boring.

What is more embarassing was when jbills implied that any officiating at any level is objective. Kind of a stupid thing to say.

You should push yourself to think further about this.

I have to agree here.

I love you Bi11s, but elaborating helps to foster good discussions.

Bosh is more talented than Anderson Ilgauskas (yes the two combined).

The reason the 07 cavs couldn't put up a fight in the finals was the kidnapping of mo williams' game. He's still better than chalmers, but because of this memory I don't think its by much.

D-wade, even in his late prime, beat up body, partying too much, drive to the lane, and flail around game is better than any 2-guard the 07 cavs had on their roster.

Battier is just as valuable or more valuable than Boobie was to his team.

2012 lebron is more pissed off. Has a post game. Doesn't care about assists right now. Is a muuuuch better defender. Most importantly he is starving hungry for a ring.

Hope this helps explain things.

Terry's Peeps wrote:
Blocks/Charge: A block/charge foul occurs when a defender tries to get in front of his man to stop him from going in that direction. If he does not get into a legal defensive position and contact occurs, it is a blocking foul. If he gets to a legal position and the offensive player runs into him it is an offensive foul. In both situations, if the contact is minimal, no foul may be called. To get into a legal position defending against the dribbler, the defender just needs to get in front of him. On a drive to the basket, the defender must get to his position before the shooter starts his upward shooting motion. For most other cases, the defender must get into position and allow enough distance for the offensive player to stop and/or change direction.

Well I was wrong. That's pretty fucking stupid though.

It's up to each ref to call it how they see it, making it by definition subjective.

Just like every foul call in basketball or penalty in football.

In the 2012 NbA finals thread, a ghastly onslaught of lebron hatred induced predictions of OkC winning the Larry O'Brien trophy was on full display by the csfmb...

Only those with pure foresight, Terry's Peeps, Jbi11s, and Walkrman5 took the Miami HEAT as the entire rest of the board chose OkC... For shame.

14 of 19 ESPN guys said the same thing, and Vegas had OKC as the clear favorite.

Who the hell is that "Yuuup" guy? Honest question. I don't watch much TV outside of sports.

PittMike once DB'd the NbA.

He stated that 'All these maneuverings...' and 'Gigantic plans...' of the NbA free agency period were too much for him...

Mind boggling.
