He was an assistant in San Antonio for two years and worked with the new GM in San Antonio as well. In reality, the Magic were looking young with Vaughn, Michael Curry and Lindsey Hunter all finalists.

I heard this over the weekend. This is his first head coaching assignment. Not so sure he'll have Dwight Howard to deal with down in Orlando, especially with him continuing to act like a diva.

Did any of them have NBA coaching experience? I'm not sure they had...

No McCracken you idiot it was the Pistons

Coaching career

On June 10, 2008 Curry was named as the head coach of the Detroit Pistons for the 2008–09 season, succeeding Flip Saunders. He received a three-year deal, worth $2.5 million per season.[4] On June 30, 2009, Curry was fired as head coach.[5] Prior to becoming head coach of the Pistons, Curry served as an assistant coach for Detroit and also as the NBA's Vice-President of Player Development.[6] Curry is currently the Associate Head Coach for the Philadelphia 76ers

Thanks for the clarification. I forgot Michael Curry was a head coach in Detroit. It's been many, many years since the Pistons were actually relevant in the NBA.

I had a Maurice Taylor #23 Michigan in 96. Got it from the Nike Outlet.

And I had the Blue and Gold (Maize) Nike socks to match. I thought I was doing it!

I had one of those too. Those were the last college jersey I ever owned. I got a video of me rapping with the Jacque Vaughn jersey on for a Gallery 37 summer program.
