These were the OKC Thunder's original concept uniforms from 2008. I think these would've been WAY better than what they eventually went with.

Yup. I'd add the 90s Phoenix Suns, the Bulls striped black jerseys, the original Vancouver Grizzlies, and the Jazz "mountain" uniforms as well. All those were from the 90s. The 90s were a really bad decade for NBA uniforms. Teams felt they had to be loud and colorful with the designs. There were a few decent 90s designs (Nuggets, Bucks, Sonics, etc), but those were the exception.

Simple is really better, IMO.

I liked the Suns uniform! They might go back to that. I think the Jazz are bringing the mountain jersey back as a throwback. Liked those a lot, too. Everything else they've had sucked.

I was afraid to say the black pinstriped Bulls jersey is ugly because a lot of people like it.

Simple is usually better, but it's okay when some teams (new ones or ones in smaller towns) try weird stuff. Keeps things lively. I wouldn't want every team to look like the Bulls.

Speaking of the Utah Jazz, I thought they went back to a throwback uniform this past season. Although the logo still had the mountain on there, the uniforms they sported didn't...

I actually like the current Thunder uniforms.

For those that didn't quite get what I was referring about the Utah Jazz's retro-style uniforms...

Yeah, the new ones are sort of like the original uniforms, but with dark indigo instead of bright purple.

This is their throwback for this year, reportedly:

The Nuggets' rainbow uniforms were so cool. There was no rhyme or reason behind a team from Denver being associated with rainbows, but it was just the coolest thing anyway.

What the Pistons wore last decade with the teal and the horse like in that photo was dumb. They have since gone back to the blue & red with the words "DETROIT PISTONS" with a basketball background in their logo, but not quite what I remember Isiah Thomas, Bill Laimbeer & Dennis Rodman once wore during the "Bad Boy" years in the '80s.
