This is amazing.

If he goes back to Cleveland, he deserves a huge shoutout for following through with the things he kept on saying about Cleveland.
If he doesn't, he deserves a permanent DBOTW nomination for string them and the fans along for years and then adding onto it by setting them up for another pretty emotional failure.

Agreed. If he goes back he will pretty much have the same complaints as when he left: a supporting cast not talented enough to vault him and the team into perennial powerhouse status. Sure they have one stud in Irving and a promising rookie, but that's not enough to beat LAC, SA, OKC, etc. As for cap space, what prominent free agent is going to sign with Cleveland? I just don't see him going back. He'll have to deal with the same basketball and social reasons that prompted him to leave in the first place.

LeBron regains some respect if he goes back to Cleveland.

Kind of makes me feel good he leaves D Wade in Miami alone.

Within Heat, still confidence they'll keep LeBron James. They know difference between his agent's agenda, and James' strong mind of his own.

Lebron goes to Clev. Bosh to Houston.

Poor Wade left all by himself.

It's not even that he got left alone. He was basically fooled out of 40 million.

I'd have a bounty out on Lebron under the same circumstances.

The Bulls should offer him a huge contract and tell him to fly to Chicago for the signature...then withdraw the contract when he lands

Is Wade a bad guy? I never had an issue with him.

Quite a bit more. IIRC he claimed (or someone claimed in his stead) that he helped orchestrate the Chicago subterfuge to help bolster the contracts the three tits got from Miami, no?

outside of Miami, really seems to be accepted as LeBron coming back to Cleveland is the right thing to do.

The only thing I can say for LeBron is that he might have recognized that legacy has left a bad taste in the mouths of many. he is still seen as a bad guy by many.

Not many in life have the chance to make things right like he has got right here and now.

he cant be MJ for pulling that Miami act, but this can take him off many 'Bad Guy' lists, including mine.

he does need to win a ring to finalize that move in Cleve.

#truth

This was his only play. And he did it well. Not done, though...

Great for Wade to lose out on all that cash now.

I hope they re-sign him for $1 Million. That's what traitors get.
