most years coaching for 1 team. i know nelson's been coaching for 25 years.

Portland's bigs looked good against the spurs but it takes a good game from front and back court to beat that team. their gaurds were gettin abused. Roy had his moments but couldnt get very many good lookin shots and jack's first 3 shots were blocked.

golden state looks like a team full of track stars out there. i dont think there are 2 better guards on a team that can push the ball as well as monta and baron.
It looked like both teams were pushing the ball quick but when they got into their half court sets utah just took advantage of the warriors. they played big in the paint. the warriors were 6 for 23 from beyond the arc. they really need baron to be hot to beat a team like utah.

It's opening night for the ATL Hawks, and still love watching them play. I don't know how good they are (they have had a nice 1st quarter vs. Dallas), but they have so much talent, it's ridiculous.

I've been touting them as a sleeper all preseason. Tonight's win is a small step, but as you said they have a ridiculous amount of talent on that team. Just goes to show if you get a top 7 pick 25 years in a row you usually end up with a solid team with alot of talent eventually.

Even by accident, which is probably how the Hawks have assembled so much talent, you can become good. I look forward to watching quite a few of their games this season.

Considering Billy Knight is prominently involved I would have to think thats how they got it.

How does that guy have a job ? Yeah, now it looks like he'll get some credit fo the team he is building but he should have been fired 3 rebuilding projects ago.

I'll be rooting for them as my 2nd NBA team. Usually, I adopt another team out West. I'm looking, but haven't made a committment yet.

It's always been the Warriors in the West (and Wolves when they had KG) and last few years the Hawks in the East

Looks like they're only lacking in the PG department (still)...Law looks promising though

Yeah he does. Needs to cut down on the TOs and play more like a a PG than a SG but overall the Hawks and Law look like they could make noise this year.

GS was my adopted team last year, and they could still become my Western team, but I'm still sifting though my options.
