Pippen was the greatest team defensive player I've ever seen. Jordan would probably be the best one on one defender which is amazing considering the amount of energy he used on the offensive end. When he decided it was time, he shut you down.

And as LTG referenced, Detroit Piston era Rodman was a freak of nature on the court. Hell, 96 Rodman guarded Shaq in the post without double team help. Think about that for a second.
