Because of the style of play of that era. His style wouldn't work in this era. He's nowhere near the player Curry Jr is or the two way player Klay was before injuries. That means you are saying Zeke alone was essentially better than Curry and Klay. It's debatable that he was better than Curry.
Curry is the best of the four. Neither Thomas nor Dumars could guard Steph. Assume you’d matchup Dumars on him as he’s the better defender and Thomas is giving away 5 or 6 inches on Klay.
