Even though a few of the games went into OT, Fisher hitting those huge 3's and Kobe having some great games, I found this Finals to be terribly boring. Maybe it really was the letdown of a Kobe-Lebron Finals. I'm just kind of glad it's over and we can move on to the draft

I agree that it was the letdown of not having the Kobe-Lebron Finals. I suppose I was salivating over a Superstar vs. Superstar matchup, but it wound up being Superstar vs. "young scrappy team" and that really doesn't pique my interest (no disrespect to Dwight Howard). I don't want to see a grindy team in the Finals. I wanted to see the two best players and biggest stars in the league facing off for the biggest prize in the game. That's not what I got.

Nonetheless, I'm happy for the Lakers because I really like a lot of players on that team.

Im kinda disappointed in Dwight. I thought he had made the Leap. He still has alot of work to do to be a "superstar"

Yeah the next time someone gets on LeBron or some star for not doing the dunk contest...I'll just assume said star is working on his game rather than prancing around in a goddamn cape.

LOL that became so overstated throughout the playoffs I wasnt gonna go there. By the end of Game 5 everybody and their brother had said that at least a few times the past couple months. He also needs to stop being scared to handle the balls and pass out of double teams. He's still really young. He'll get there.

I dont see how they can without moving that ugly Bynum contract, and they will probably lose either Ariza or Odom. I think they should keep Odom and hope Bynum stays healthy and improves.

Man how did Bynum go from being sorely missed to being a rusty anchor?

Even with the tide shifting in the West (Duncan getting older, perennial powers like Dallas and Phoenix not what they used to be), I can't see the Lakers winning another title.

I think Kobe's just too worn out

I really think had the Cavs made it they would have won. Or a Celtics team at full strength. I'm not saying the Lakers weren't/aren't a great team, but I think a lot of things fell perfectly in place for them.

I dont think the Lakers are a great team. Not much depth, bad PG play, too soft inside. I dont think they are one of the better champions in recent memory. I think Phil should retire. They can win another one but he's got his 10, he's clearly not the same coach he used to be, and his health is obviously worsening.

I dont see a reason that the Lakers cant make it back to the Finals again and possibly win, although I think a healthy Celtics would beat them, and the Magic with Jameer at full strength would look alot different. Cleveland will also probably improve.

I think had the Orlando Magic found a way to win one of the first 2 games at STAPLES Center, maybe, just maybe the NBA Finals would still be going on vs. the L.A. Lakers...Woulda, coulda, shoulda...

Lamar Odom is still a bum if he wins the title every year the rest of his career.

No chance the Lakers win the title without Odom though. Their bench would be abysmal if it wasnt for him. No way the Lakers can afford Turk.

Because Im hearing he's going to cost in the $10-12 million/year range minimum, from Orlando or Detroit most likely. Also he's clearly better than Odom and Ariza and the Lakers are going to resign one or both of them.
