It's nothing personal against him or Wade or Bosh. I hate the Heat because I hate that their success justifies perpetuating/popularizing the Big Three line of thought. It's bad for the sport.

In a 30 team league it's hard enough to get one justifiable star on any given franchise, much less convince that star to stay in that market. It's stupid that the NBA has so little turnover of the consistently top-tier franchises, and relegates these mid-market teams to serve as a farm system for teams on the coast. It's bad enough that all these hotshots want to play for the same 4 franchises but now they've potentially opened the door for those stars to dictate where they're going to play, even if it's not out in the open.

The Big Miami 3 was absolutely coordinated under the table, but because there was no evidence they can't prove it. This is not the last time this is going to happen, and it makes me very disappointed. Just contract the league down to 16 teams and stop fucking around subjecting people to Bobcats/Wizards.

Dewskie... The nbA is a far different league than it was 10 years ago... Every single team have a no doubt star on their roster... The taalent level has been higher than any previous nba era for at least 5 yers now...

So by this logic, you have disdain for Boston's, LA's, and SA's championships this decade?

There is so much going on under the table/behind closed doors of any major corporate entity. I could care less if three great athletes decide they want to have the best chance @ winning multiple championships, and extend their collective legacies... I mean its not that big of a deal...

I don't have disdain for any of the title winners. I'm just now starting to enjoy the NBA for the first time in many, many years. I was happy that Boston won simply because of seeing guys like Garnett and Allen get titles at the twilight of their careers - their assembling started a negative trend, I admit, but maybe this trend has been going on for a long time and I'm just not reading between the lines.

I admit to not being as attentive a fan as I should be regarding the sport, but I'm not really a fan of any team, so I have no rooting interest in being actively engaged as others are.

The only good thing about this is I will be way more interested in the final games now just so I can cheer against the Heat.

I agree the Celtics wouldn't have put up much of a fight against OKC and I want to see LeBron lose very badly. I just hope OKC takes the first two games because of the 2-3-2 game setup.
