Walt, honest question: Why does every one of your NBA-related posts either include a sarcastic comment or some grand proclamation on the state of the NBA? In my opinion, you either like watching NBA basketball or you don't. May I ask why YOU watch it? You don't seem to enjoy it very much. Again, honest question.

It's just a game man, just a game. No more no less.

 schmitty you'll bitch about anything. Dirk is the one guy who shouldn't be taking any heat, he's been the best player in this series

I hope the Nazi can pull this one out for the Mavs. Can't go down 3-1. Tonight, we all root for the Nazi.

Thank you. But Dallas has to win this next one at home. They cannot go back to Miami needing to win 2.

Someone needs to tell Lebron the series started. Bernsie will say he is killing it on defense, but he has been mia on offense. Wade and Lizard have been carrying them.

It was awesome to see Dirks guys rally around him like that. Chandler was a beast, and jet and Marion picked it up considerably. If they can play that smart and aggressive with a 100% dirk there's no reason they won't be able to win this series

The officiating the last few mins has been BRUTAL. Dirk gets mugged going across the lane and no call, while Wade comes down and gets bumped and gets the call. Then he clearly moved his pivot foot and it was not called either.

We just saw the difference between a facilitator and a leader in Wade. Lebron is not a facilitator right now, he is scared

LeBron about to score less than MJ's all-time lowest finals total. Again.
And no pts in the 4th. Again.

This is Wade's team [/stating the obvious]

Lebron says all the things and make it sound like he will have a big night and he gets 2 points in the 4th quarter and his team had a 5 point lead mid 4th.

The Heat may still win it all, but I just wonder if Lebron is going to do anything the final 2 games to win this.

I wouldn't count out Lebron and the Heat yet, but LBJ is clearly no MJ. Go Mavs!

Like I said 6 weeks ago, everyone is following Dirk this spring. I'm still not sure what switched in him but it's been clearly visible all spring

He wants it more than the Heat.

Wade and possibly Haslem are the only ones among the coaches and players who know what's up right now. Wades injury was a much bigger deal tonight than people will say

Wade's a pussy. If he was able to play after the injury happened in the second quarter, then he should have been on the floor when the 2nd half started. I'm surprised he wasn't taken off the court in a wheelchair again.

And what the hell was Lebron doing again in the 4th quarter? He's got Jason Kidd guarding him and he makes no attempt to get to the basket at all. He's one of the biggest/fastest guys in the league. He could have just iced this game from the free throw line. Instead it was, lots of passes, and horrible long jumpers.

Interesting random stat:
Quote:
Through tonight, Brian Cardinal has made $18,078 PER POINT in his NBA career.

And he has one of the greatest nicknames ever. "The Custodian"

Does he still have that fat contract? Brian Cardinal's expiring contract was part of NBA Trade Rumors for about 5 years.

No. Cardinal was a free agent. He only makes $1,352,181 down from $6,750,000 last year.

Im pretty sure Wade is not a pussy. I'm guessing he got a bit more than a band aid in the locker room in the first half just to come back out. The decrease in his explosiveness was immediately evident.

Taking a wheel chair off the court is being tough?
