Yup. Ginobli just isn't the same player with the drive n kick aspect removed from his game. Gary Neal can drive and score a bit, but he isn't the same playmaker Parker is and Manu was. Spurs miss that at times.

Miamis defensively intensity isn't helping. They're all over.

I thought in his old age he'd become more of a second to Parker. Not trying to bait you, just a happy accident :D

Yeah, credit to Miami. They're certainly getting after it. Something just doesn't look right with SA today, but it's more what Farvio pointed out. Ginobili just can't penetrate and break down the defense like he used to.

Parker is probably slightly better overall, but Duncan is certainly good enough not to warrant ????? after just James and Parker.

It's Parker's team and he's now the best player.

This is so fucking great. James made a great pass to Allen out of his peripheral for the three. Parker comes right back with a beautiful floater to shut up the crowd. They're going back and forth now.

I love seeing two great teams in the Finals. So glad Indiana didn't make it.

It's nobody's team. Duncan is still their leader though. That's impossible to argue.

Well my main point was Parker is better than Wade now. I guess that's not news.

Sorry, misunderstood your point. Agree it's not news.

Duncan is the clear leader but the offense is designed to go through Parker. It says a lot about the type of player Duncan is that he was okay with the change.

Yeah, but there was never any doubt that Duncan was that type of player. He just wants to win. He's not like some other guys(I won't mention any names) who only want to win on their terms.

This game has been a reverse of Game 1. The Heat are clearly outplaying the Spurs but 3's are keeping them in the game. Beware of a LeBron 3rd quarter explosion.

Parker did EXACTLY what I wanted to see to start out this quarter. Miami's D has been great so far like leash said, but the Spurs need to take advantage of their aggressiveness and it happened right there.

Interesting to see Parker, Duncan, and James struggling like this. Role players like Green, Leonard, Wade, and Bosh are gonna decide this game.

Yes. It feels like he has missed like 25 shots in a row from that block. Annoying.

Spurs just gave away a game. LeBron played terrible and they couldn't win. This will be a 20 point win. The Heat play with more confidence when they're ahead. Bosh will even hit a 3.

In fairness to the Spurs the officiating has been awful. There should be an investigation.

The Spurs guys have been pushed to the ground after nearly every shot/turnover. Worst officiating in a playoff game since Game 6 of the 2002 WCF

Edit:Spurs have played like shit and didn't deserve to win. It's not an excuse for losing. It's just another embarrassing moment for the only pro sports league that gets compared to the WWE.

If they aren't going to call fouls when Parker gets knocked to the floor why not just hand the trophy to the Heat before the game starts?

According to the box score, Miami had more fouls than the Spurs (17-14).
Officiating???
Hardly.
The Spurs fell apart in the fourth quarter -- pure and simple.

Still just one game. This doesn't mean the Heat win.
I loved an email to B and B last week, explaining the media overreaction after each game.
Each game in this series -- just like in the Stanley Cup this year -- has it's own separate entities. The ebb and flow is exciting to watch. I hope both series go the distance.
