You're in the family that is the only reason you don't get hammered more often. Plus you're a volume poster and they would rather you stick around. It's not like you have salient or cogent thoughts. You're active which buys you capital. To quote McNeil by way of Lombardi never confuse activity with accomplishment

No one cares if you post. Can it be entertaining at times? Yes. Beyond that there is no value to anything you post. We actually like people that have basketball thoughts around here even if they are bad. There aren't many people that watch regularly. Before you proved that you were insane I believe I said we were happy to have you. Unfortunately you're a guy that doesn't have the ability to have a normal discussion. Like I said either you're a good troll or you are certifiably insane.

I'm actually neither. I have had plenty of normal discussions. You use the term "we" as if you speak for the class. Who anointed you purveyor of all things message board.

This is symbolic of the stupid stuff that comes out of your mouth but the watchdogs that inhabit this board give you a pass on. I'm not going to throw a parade because he beat Kirk Hinrich. He wasn't even the 5th option on the Olympic teams and he is Benard King lite. If King doesn't get in then Marshmelo doesn't deserve to be in either. All he's done is suck and lose when the games matter most. That's a fact. You can't win a championship when guys like Marshmelo and Josh Smith are key players.

More stupid thoughts. The guy is a no doubt hall of famer. He also was the leading scorer on one of those Olympic teams so I don't know how being a leading scorer makes you a fifth option. Quick make it look like you're trolling so that you can hide your lack of knowledge regarding this fact.

Just about. Dominique Wilkins wasn't good enough to get in his first year and King still hasn't made it.

Garbage time points and he wasn't the leading scorer. Are you really saying he was more than a 5th option? Was he the primary option? Was he the secondary option? At best he was 4th. Some may say 6th. I was nice enough to split the difference.

Coach K stated that he was the best player on one of those teams. By that he meant he was performing the best at that particular moment. The fact remains that he has been one of the top 10 players of his era. You can knock the guy but he has had a good to great career. It's interesting how this turned into Melo bashing yet again. On that front we as Bulls fans, should get over it. They are doing fine without the guy and one of the primary reasons is due to a guy that you didn't want. Pau Gasol is coming up big and you spent about three months bashing the deal. That is another of your idiotic opinions. You bashed the guy at every turn. He is a proven winner so all your talk about winning championships is a facade because you didn't even credit him for any of the Lakers success. Every guy that knows anything about the NBA knew the Lakers were contenders the second they acquired him. They don't call you on this stuff but it'd obvious you know very little about the game. You are this message boards version of Bill Simmons.

Nope I can guarantee you Kirk Heinrich nor Robert Horry will be in it. The Basketball Hall is flawed in a number of ways. I don't agree with taking guys that have had a great college careers and so so NBA careers.

So you were wrong again about him being the leading scorer and anything more than a 4th option? You owe me another apology. Were you trolling or did you just lack the knowledge? You should Google all of your thoughts before posting. #Embarrassing

He was the second leading scorer on the 2012 team. That is still not a fifth or sixth option as you stated. I know as is your style you will focus on this rather tedious bit of info and ignore the stupid statement that a guy averaging 17 a game and was the second leading scorer was somehow a fifth or sixth option.

Well in 2012 he kinda was and wasn't. When KD started and the 2nd unit was in, Melo had the green light to score all he wanted and he obliged.

He hasn't been the leading scorer on any of the 3 teams he played on. One year he average a little over 1 ppg.

Not when they're playing good teams. There is always a pecking order. Game on the line and Kobe was getting the ball. He was no better than the 4th best player on that 2012 team and he was further down the list in 2008 and 2004. He wants Marshmelo to be the man on a championship team so bad.

You tell me. I'm sure you were in the huddle while Coach K was going over the sets. If you weren't I'm sure you can find someone who was. He was regarded by many as the best pure scorer in the league at the time. He also was considered one of the best 1-2 one on one players so I'm sure he was no less than a second option. On that team I remember him doing a lot of catch and shoot though. I don't know where that falls on the pecking order but he was def. A key component of the team. Do you really think he won't be a hall of fame player or are you trolling?

The guy was arguably the best performer that yr. What I'm not understanding is how this devolved into Anthony. Josh Smith I believe is better than Taj. He hasn't been the previous yr. A lot had to do with the franchise he was on. Yesterday the people on here were ready to pronounce his career over. Let's see how much of a loser he is once he is on a better team. The fact that the better teams around the league want him means something. Predictably you will say it's means nothing because they don't have to pay him. If he is such a loser why would they want him? Why would they want such a loser around them? Probably because they don't really think he is a loser obviously.

Kobe
Durant
LeBron
Marshmelo/Chris Paul/Deron Williams

I always go back to Bernard King for players like Marshmelo unless they had playoff success. Reggie Miller is Dale Ellis if he didn't have playoff success. Marshmelo is Bernard King unless he has some playoff success. Great individual player but borderline HoFer. I personally believe King should be in especially considering the bums they do let in. I will never take the NBA HoF serious considering they made Dominique Wilkins wait a year. He is no worse than a top 40 NBA player of all time. He was a guy who shitted on Scottie every time he saw him.
