bagels your boys are taking it to denver in the first half. They do play well at home. Crawford is still playing well. Is he playing more disciplined than in the past?

I don't necessarily think so...I just think Atlanta is a really good fit for him, and he's been pretty hot which always helps. Like on Golden State he was on a team with a lot of other scorers and guys who need the ball- and some were better options than Crawford. On ATL's second unit, he's the main option

And god is Carmelo strong...loved when they had Maruice evans guarding him...

evans carries the kings to a road win over the jazz. I like my prereason prediction of the jazz missing the playoffs. In a few short years they went from having great chemistry to some of the worst in the league. That team needs an overhaul built around williams

phoenix just might be pretty damn good. Grant hill is playing great and richardson and frye have fit in perfectly there. They could end up being a dark horse contender playing this ssol offense.

of course after I say the Nuggets are playing pretty good defense they give up 125 to the Hawks.

I'm interested in seeing how the Cavs-Magic game goes, specifically oneal...I mean wasn't this basically the reason they got him, to try and matchup with Howard? (and I suppose Bynum). I'm sure Howard is going to make him look like a fool

So much for that...good win for the Cavs.

It's been an interesting start to the season for the top 4- every team has shown some flaws. Kind of bitter the Hawks dropped that game at Charlotte...their only other loss was at the Lakers which is certainly understandable. Still 6-2 is not bad but they've played some subpar teams. Back to back tomorrow and Sat. at Celtics and then home against the Hornets- need to win at least one of those. Still waiting on the Magic to get 100% healthy. Cavs look great one night, terrible the next.

watched the game, and I still think that in the end, the Magic will be the better team. Not sold on Shaq or the coaching for Cleveland...

Mike Brown is one of the worst coaches in the NBA.

Did I read the stat line right? Chris Paul only had 3 points tonight?

They really struggled without him against the Hawks last night (duh)

Where is my Hawks love???? A road win at Boston and yes NO w/o Paul but you have to play who's out there. Some nice early wins for ATL. So far Josh Smith has been outstanding. He's not taking ridiculous threes and jumpers, really holding it down underneath.

yeah i've been meaning to post some props with the hawks. They seem to destroy teams they should beat and finally look pretty consistent. I dont think they will be an easy out in the playoffs.

The way they've played against Boston and especially now getting the road win, I have confidence they can definitely hang with them. Still scared shitless with Howard, they have NO one who can even remotely come close to guarding him. Cleveland....the way they're playing now I think the Hawks could do better than getting swept but I still don't think they're in that class quite yet. Still, the Hawks are playing as a unit far better than the Cavs are.

the hawks biggest problem in a potential series with cleveland is the fact they wont have home court. But the q doesn't seem as tough as last year and right now im not convinced cleveland is even the better team

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking about saying but didn't quite want to say it. It's a bit too early but right now Atlanta does look better. I really do wonder if Shaq is going to ruin them like he did the Suns. For whatever reason you want to attribute their success to, it is rather funny that they're doing far better without him bogging them down

Getting T. Porter out of there was a pretty good move too.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say if Trenton Hassell is playing 36+ minutes a game for you, don't be shocked if you are 0-10.

I don't understand how that guy keeps getting any kind of role on an NBA team besides 12th man off the bench. Why not bring in some kid and see what he can do? What do you have to lose at this point?

I'm not complaining since he's on my fantasy team. I just find it funny. Then again I never liked Lawrence Frank that much as a coach. He still is the coach there, right? I actually dont know, that's kinda embarrassing.
