I'm stealing Bill Simmons' point from his podcast a day or two ago about ratings and conspiracy. I personally would have rather seen the Timberwolves and Knicks go at it. I think that matchup would have been best for ratings as well. Won't be disappointed watching OKC and Indiana, the top 2 teams in overall pace this year.

Simmons mentioned the 2002 NBA Finals could have been the New Jersey Nets and Sacramento Kings. We all know what happened in Game 6 of the WFCs.

The Knicks in the Finals would be great for the NBA. Even a Game 7 at MSG would be great too. We'll see how this game is called.

I am torn. I want Indiana to win the series, but game 7s are always fun.

It's somewhat amazing that Mazzulla seemingly will remain the Celtics coach.

Yeah no doubt. If I am the Celtics I am firing him immediately and bringing in Thibs

how many chances can thibs get? he isnt a title winning coach. if you desire to be a pesky 3 seed, hire him.

what the knicks do should not be a model for anyone.... but maybe the owner chose KAT over thibs

I dont think that is really fair to Thibs. Has he ever had a roster that could win the NBA championship?

He has consistently elevated teams

If you put him coaching the Celtics he has a roster that can win the title.

You knew New York wasn't going to run it back with the same roster but not running it back with Thibs is silly.

Mike Malone is from Queens. Billy Donovan is from Long Island. Rick Brunson?

This offseason is going to be nutty with all the player movement.

I would take back Thibs on the Bulls in half a heartbeat!

We'd still have to deal with AK's nincompoopery, but Thibs could right the ship to some degree at least.

The new Orlando Magic uniforms have an uncanny-valley feel to them where they're trying to recapture the '90s aesthetic but the execution is too slick.

But at least you can look at them and say "oh, that's the Orlando Magic." Once I saw highlights of them and they were wearing orange because Florida grows oranges. League's gotta reel it in.

I like the first 2. But the one with Black on it, no thanks. Too busy or something. Do not care for it.

It's basically a palette swap of the old Dominique Wilkins Atlanta Hawks uniforms (which is what they should still be wearing).
