I guess. If he plays like he did in Game 2 throughout the series, he'll have himself to blame though.

thanks. I'm ok. if you look at my posts i was in no way saying they would win more than 1 game this series. i thought they would win the big game 3 that all losers somehow manage to win at home, then go back to losing the next one

there's a difference between wanting a team to win and thinking they are going to win. obviously i want the Hawks to win. do i think they will? hell no. yeah, it turned out worse than even i thought. if the rest of the series is going to go like this i would have just as soon seen them eliminated by the Bucks.

I think they'll take Game 3. It wouldnt shock me if they took Game 4 but Im guessing this series is over in 5.

i actually think strictly starters vs. starters, Hawks aren't really giving up all that much. but as far as benches the magic is far superior and when Howard is getting every Hawk frontline player in foul trouble it only makes the situation worse.

No need to start another thread.

NEW YORK -- Kobe Bryant is on the NBA all-defensive first team for the fifth straight year.

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo made the first team for the first time, earning the second-most points behind the league's defensive player of the year, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard.

Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace also made the team for the first time, with the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James making it for the second straight year.

The league's coaches vote on the team.

The second team consists of San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan, guards Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Thabo Sefolosha of the Oklahoma City Thunder and forwards Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and Anderson Varejao of the Cavaliers.

Smith should have been on the 1st team ahead of Wallace

You might get your wish...Besides, did anyone notice the Suns sporting their orange "Los Suns" jersey in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinal vs. the Spurs? It wasn't just honoring the Latin community in Phoenix, it was a political statement against Arizona's controversial immigration law that's got everybody fired up.

Such a promising start for the Hawks and yet such an awful finish. :|

yeah, they decided to play 3 quarters vs. 1 the other night. it seems like every game they have some horrible stretch where they're ice cold, the lead swells to double digits and it's over. i thought they played Howard a lot better than in the 1st game despite his numbers too. great game from vince carter

I agree. IMO with a Healthy Nelson they would have won last season.

yeah, i agree. he really is underrated i think given the glut of great point guards...i'm not sure i'd say he's in an elite class but he's very good and you're right that was a huge loss. he's played really well in this postseason. again though i suppose he's faced felton & augustin in rd 1 and mike bibby in rd 2, so not like he's been playing great PG's. but looking ahead if he's going to face Mo Williams then possibly Derek Fisher, i give him the advantage over both

from yesterday's recap....pretty douchey if you ask me

he's played terrible pretty much the entire postseason

Rondo with another triple double in the playoffs. This kid proves more and more that he is probably the best and most important factor on this team. 29pts 18reb,13 asst.

Best player on the team and probably the best PG in the East.

2nd round has been pretty dull, only one good matchup and a good probability of 3 sweeps

The conference finals will be great. I love Kobe and the Lakers but I really can't see them or Cleveland beating the Magic. I could even see both of them getting swept. More likely the Cavs than the Lakers though.
