If I'm following this correctly, long time guy is still adamant in judging based primarily on playoff appearances and playoff success, correct?

So Isiah Thomas post playing career?

Toronto Raptors = 3 years, 0 playoff appearances

Indiana Pacers = 3 years, 3 playoff appearances. Lost in the first round each time

New York Knicks = 6 seasons, 1 playoff appearance. Lost in the first round.

Total of 12 years. 4 playoff appearances. Never made it to the second round.

Coaching record of 187-223 for a .456 W/L%.

He may not be the single worst coach / GM, to be fair. But he is 'one of the worst.' You can argue about Top 5 or Top 10, I don't care. But he clearly isn't a great talent evaluator.

You havent given the guy credit for
1. Drafting McGrady
2. Drafting Stoudemire
3. CAMBY
4. DAVID lee.
5. Wilson Chandler
6. Trevor Ariza
7. Nate Robinson
Probably others I'd have to dig a little.

He stinks as a GM but I can separate the two. He can identify talent. He overpays for guys and that was his biggest problem as GM.

You look at a number of GMS around the league and you find that there are a lot of them that can't pick talent. Mitch Kupchak is beginning to fall into that category to name but one.

More crazy Curry stats. From 28 feet to 50 feet, he's 35-of-52 this season. Better efficiency than making 100% of your 2s

Subjective, and probably unnecessary to my point.

No, it's not. They literally went to the NBA Finals the year before and returned the entire team.

Aren't you one of the Sox fans that were telling me a 2016 playoff appearance isn't promised to the Cubs?

That's not really a good argument though. There are many more parts to a baseball team and the margin between the best and the worst in most cases is a lot thinner than it is in the NBA. The consistency of performance in basketball is a lot different than it is in baseball and/or there is much more randomness in baseball.

the shot he banked in from almost half court at the end of the 3rd quarter last night was just insane
i mean beyond ridiculous
if the game had been closer he clearly would have broken the record for 3's in a game
the Magic basically conceded the game by triple teaming him, they weren't going to let him break the record

DEMARCUS COUSINS HAS NEVER MADE THE PLAYOFFS YOU FUCK!

Talking about how much better Cousins is over Anthony Davis and then you state it is because Anthony Davis misses the playoffs in a bunch of years.

Your crazy ass is going back two years to try to catch people on some hypocritical shit. You can't even go a month.

I'm a man that values his history you fool!

Seriously. Isaiah cost them 11 million dollars for sexual harrassment. You're down 11M before he even begins to fuck up the roster

Ill back up LTG on one thing, talent was not Eddy Curry's issue. It was worth ethic, conditioning and limo drivers.
