I was wrong last year but I still think the Lakers sneak into the playoffs and then grind out a few playoff series. IF Davis stays healthy. Lebron has not dropped off yet. They just have no shooters. It is beyond hilarious to see teams literally leave Westbrick wide open up to 15 feet. Ham has to figure out pick and rolls using Westbrook as the screener. They are definitely better defensively than last year but Davis still looks like he doesn't care. Probably trying to stay healthy. He's still a force if he's not injured.

IF Lebron and Davis stay healthy and they pick up Hield. Yes. But they'll have to sneak in. the regular season is the hard part for them. Long seasons are bad for old rosters.

Any scenario that hinges on the health of AD is a non starter for me.

They have absolutely no depth and the west is too deep. Sneak in, maybe. Make noise? Nahhh

he's made out of paper but one of these years he's going to play a full season. He's clearly going at 75 percent right now.

I don't think the West 5-8 is as good as you think it is.

You also had Lebron James as a dude who "wins regardless of who his teammates happen to be. His team is currently 0-4 and will miss the playoffs for the 4th time out of the last 5 seasons.

Funny thing is he had to let it go out of bounds because he can't catch his own airball.

Kyrie is coming by the deadline.

I'd trade Lebron and AD for extra Wembanyama lottery tickets + more. It's over for the Lakers this go round, they just don't wanna accept that reality.

This Nets thing is going to get really bad. Ben Simmons is single-handedly going to send Kyrie to the Lakers and Durant to the Suns.

This Nets thing is a disaster. Not going to last past February. Maybe not December.

Irving and Simmons are individual cancers. When on the same team there's no hope.

They will play on a team that has a better record than the one Lebron James plays for. The very same Lebron James who you repeatedly claim is the "ultimate winner"

Sweet sweet mercy for him. Being dependant on a kook like Kyrie and the passive aggressive KD is bad enough, but then a head case like Simmons is too much.

Steve Nash should never have been hired in the first place but the collection of guys that he has had to coach have not did him any favors either. Between Kyrie, Harden, Simmons and Durant you probably have 4 out of the 5 most uncoachable guys (Along with Lebron) in the NBA right now.

Thanks for acknowledging I won the Simmons and Irving debate. Both are liabilities and Simmons is a cut-able player currently.

I would probably cut Kyrie first.

I would probably cut Kyrie first.

Maybe it was just my observation, but he sulked, had no effort, the 1st half. Barkley called it stress, and Shaq smirked and said nothing.

He didn't score until the 4th. Even then, he didn't look like he wanted to shoot. I don't think it's stress. Kyrie isn't used to working this many games in a row. He's probably exhausted.

Kyrie is currently averaging 30 per game. Some "liability". And by the way he has a ring already. Again some "liability". Your guy Lebron can't be coached either. If that makes someone a "liability" according to you, then you can add him to the list of "liabilities" as well. "WE" both know that you won't however.
