I think he’ll be a great pro but I don’t see a ton that’ll make him exceptional, especially in the context of other #1 “tank for ____” type picks.

I don't know if he is a "generational" talent or not, but he is definitely a guy that you "tank for". If you look at the past 25 drafts, there are probably only a handful of No. 1 overalls that were considered "generational" prior to the draft. But you don't tank merely to draft "generational" talents. You tank in order to draft All Star caliber players. This kid is most definitely that.
