No, the Bulls traded the #17 and Hinrich for the 35th pick.

Aldrich and Mo-pete traded to OKC for 18 and 21? Decent trade both ways.

Garpax Reinsdorf in desperation mode. Thank you.

Not sure how that's desperate.

I have to assume there's a gentleman's agreement in place that would net the Bulls a player .... have no idea who though.

This Xavier Henry pick is confusing. He's got the same size and game as OJ Mayo, but he's there to replace Rudy Gay? Didnt know Rudy was part of this free agent class. Whoever signs him will get a non max deal free agent steal.

I don't see this as desperation at all. They are now even with all contenders for LeBron. I also heard a good point today by everyone's favorite radio team. It is very doubtful the Bulls make this move unless they are pretty damn sure good things are on the way.

Trading the best backup PG in the league and the 17th pick for an early 2nd rounder is def a desperate salary dump. Considering the Bulls were talking to the Clips about moving a similar talent (Deng) and 17 for the 8th pick just 12 hours ago, Im gonna have to reiterate that IMO this was a desperation trade. It helps us in a week, but not right now.

No need to argue. We all are hoping for the same endgame. An LBJ to Chicago signing.

Well correct me if I am wrong but nobody is playing RIGHT NOW, so i'll take the help for the future in order to get two big names anyday!

If you had any NBA cred you just lost it with the Hinrich best backup PG comment

I'm not trying to stir shit, just saying I don't think Hinrich is the best backup PG that's all.

I'd rather have Dragic and Barrera for the money

Barrera cant play defense and his offense is super limited cus if his size. Dragic had one game in the playoffs. Good luck with all that.

Like I said, we all want the same endgame.

I've heard Patterson is better at putting it in the hole.

I hear ya.

When you say best backup, I usually equate that to who makes the most impact on HIS team.

I'm not sorry to see Hinrich go that's all.

I'm unclear as to how the term "desperation" is applicable.

Heck, for all we know, they already have (wink-wink) deals in place that assume the Bulls have enough space.

I am, however, not thrilled to see KH go, but I'll get over it. Deng getting the hell out of town would've been much more to my liking, but who's asking me anyway.

Neither am I. He was one of the most over valued STARTING PGs in the league for a long time. Besides not pulling the trigger on the Kobe deal, and making Eddy Curry feel like he's done something wrong for not taking a heart test, stating Hinrich was 'untradeable' a few years ago was pretty high on the fuckup list of J-Pax.

Im more concerned at what we are receiving tonight. Shit, what if we dont get LBJ?

That's the whole point ... no LBJ, then no point.

(unrelated .... was Bilas just espousing the value of Pargo?!? Holy shit-sticks .......)

I thought so too DT, but I think he was commenting on how hard it was to pronounce dude's name.

On a side note, I dnt think Jon barry understands that pick #17 wasnt the bulls pick. What a dumbass.

So bledsoe is going to back up Chris Paul and Marcus Thorton in NO? Not bad.
