Dallas is filled with much better shooters including the hardest matchup in the series in Dirk, who will just destroy them on pick n pops all series if they play anything close to the same defensive zones. And kidd might still be better than anyone in the league at picking apart zones and rotational misses in a halfcourt. And that might be rose's biggest flaw right now

Why do you keep turning the attention to the Bulls series? They are completely different deals. Miami kicked the Bulls ass, no doubt. But that has nothing to do with this series. If Miami plays the same type of series against the Mavs, Dirk and crew are going to roll.

The same way the bulls did on defense more or less, but I really don't see Dallas struggling to score 15 points in a quarter like the bulls often did.

Dallas's bench is almost as good defensively as ours, and our bench did a great job on defense in the series. Dallas is deep enough to keep sending guy after guy at you.

If you think Kidd can't play defense anymore ask Kobe. Dallas is awesome at hiding him in transition and in a half court he's as smart and physical as they come. And for whatever reason he's allowed to get away with hand checks still

Walt Miami might sweep Dallas. But if you think it will look the same it won't. The NBA is about matchups, and this will be a completely different looking series

Hooray, luckily for me I watch basketball and can explain and do have a clue!

Since Kidd has become an integral part Dallas has clearly slowed down the pace. They've also changed stressed big time for the past couple years getting back on defense after a shot. They very rarely turn the ball over and purposely focus on offensive execution mores than anything else so they don't give up all their fast breaks. Basically they are well coached and well disciplined and their coach is awesome at accentuating strengths while hiding flaws

Almost any pg in the league can dribble past Kidd yet he's still their in crunch time and they still play great defense with him. Gee walt, why is that? Oops i forgot, you can't actually explain anything.
