He did more than just hit clutch shots. I'm just saying the guy was money in the final seconds of games. His career 3 point numbers are also something to consider. He also played at a high level for a very long time. He's a HOF'er.

Horry has 7 NBA titles over the same time period and probably hit more clutch shots that really mattered than Miller. His 3 point numbers are inflated because he played 18 years.

Miller is all reputation and little substance. Everyone remembers his battles with the Knicks and his mouth. But he was nothing more than a good scorer on a team that only went to one NBA Finals. He didn't rebound, he didn't pass, he didn't play much defense other than holding people. He isn't even the best basketball player in his family.

No. They both belong in the Hall but Rodman is one of the best rebounders ever and one of the best and most versatile defensive players ever.

Rodman gave up the need to score in order to play defense and rebound. He was one of the best ever at both. During the last 3-peat the Bulls had the 2 most versatile defenders in the NBA.

As well as a young Detlef Scherempf and one of the most underrated point guards in the NBA, Mark Jackson.

Hardly. If you think a guy who averaged 18, 3, 3 is an elite scorer who dominated the NBA, then thats fine. He only went to 5 all-star games as well. If you put him in, you are opening up the door for a bunch of other players who were good, but not great.

Hall of Fame is for the best, not the really good basketball players.

I'm not debating that Walter Davis was a better scorer than Pippen. There were a lot of players who put up higher scoring numbers. If I remember, the debate was whether or not you could insert Walter Davis in Pippen's role on the championship Bulls and receive the same outcomes. I don't believe you could.
