Over the last month or so Rondo has been great but for some reason he doesn't always play this way. I love what he's doing against Miami.

He kills it almost every time he's on national tv. I think he's averaging like 20-15-13 on Sunday ABC games.

KG moving to Center helped him a lot also. With Garnett and Bass on either baseline and Rondo living in the paint that's one of hardest and most unusual schemes in the league to stop.

Never figured you for a stats guy. Westbrook's decision making might cost them the 1 seed and his defense is worse than it was a few years ago. I don't get how you think he's played the best this season. He's had a very good season but he hasn't been as good as Rondo or Paul.

I dont think I've ever heard someone declare a player with a 5.4/3.7 assist-turnover ratio the best PG in the NBA. Weird season indeed.

Just a different opinion. Also Rondo is the only good/great defender.

Weird how you found a stat you didn't like after complaining that I used stats.

 Only you would complain about me using the link you posted. Besides, as a basketball guy, how does that stat not immediately stand out when youre looking at a PG? That's the worst I've ever seen for an "elite pg". But again, Westbrook isn't a PG.

Also Paul is an excellent defender and Rose has already surpassed Westbrook defensively.

He's having a career year but his assists are down 3 a game.

Usually guys with 26-5-5 lines aren't point guards. He saw what Rose did last season and got MVP envy, to the detriment of the Thunder. If he wasn't constantly stuck in "get mine" mode the Thunder would be scary good. As it is they are a top 4 team in the league still.

That's exactly what happened.

Rose absolutely destroyed any Paul/Rose comparisons by dominating him so badly in LA the Clippers crowd gave him MVP chants.

Not just this year either. Derrick has outplayed Paul consistently head-to-head since his second year in the league.
