He's kind of like family. His brother and I have been close/best friends friends for 20 years.

Well that's cool, I kinda figured it was something like that. Does he have any shot at making the roster?

And shut up Hawger.

He definitely has the talent to make the 15 but I'm not sure if he has the right attitude or work ethic to stick. Is he better than JL3? Absolutely. Will he bust his ass and do the things JL3 did to make a team? Doubtful.

Even in the event Eddy Curry doesn't make the Spurs, word is he's played well enough to have drawn interest from... several teams, which are supposedly keeping tabs on him. Then again, Curry no longer seems like such a long shot to make the Spurs' final roster. The Bucks, Trail Blazers, Hornets and yes, Bulls, all may have an interest if Curry is cut loose

Why in the ever living fuck would the Bucks need another useless big man?

Glorious. If Curry gets signed with the Bucks, the post game Skiles pressers where he gets on the court will be must see TV.

Personally, I can't see him playing for Skiles. Plus, how would the Bulls gonna sign this guy with his "heart" issue?

Agreed, but do you think Skiles wants him? I can't see it. Somebody gonna get choked if this happens.

Isn't that why John Paxson traded Eddy to the Knicks when Pax generally managed the Bulls?

I can't wait for Rick Perry to criticize political candidates talking about their religious beliefs too often.

How do you pass the ball to Kobe when your ass is parked on the bench?

So in this case the Green Party is the WNBA then right?

SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs waived former Chicago Bulls center Eddy Curry on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Curry joined the Spurs on Oct. 1 and averaged 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in five preseason games.

Selected fourth overall by the Bulls in the 2001 NBA Draft, Curry has averaged 13.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in 525 career games with the Bulls, New York Knicks and Miami Heat.

The Spurs also waived forward Derrick Brown.
