Fleeing Superstars LeBron James (Cavs) Chris Bosh (Raptors) Dwight Howard (Magic)
These three guys left their teams and those three teams have been in the lottery since, except for the Raptors this season, which is the first time in 4 years they aren't going to be in the lottery.
Prior to the big 3 teaming up and Howard leaving Miami, the Cavs, Raptors and Magic were playoff teams.
I revise my statement there is a scarcity of superstars. However, at the same time the problem with that is many of them are on the same teams. You can't have a competitive league when superstars are teaming up to go for a ring, especially when the teaming up makes the other teams in the same conference weaker.
