I think you've forgotten how great Jordan's D was.. Sure he could chuck 3's from just inside half court..but that's about it..he now em down on Defense and drop 50 on him... Bulls in 4.

I think the Bulls would definitely win, but this wouldn't happen. You can't shut down a guy who has 35 foot range and the quickest release in the game.

Dont laugh too hard at this because its not a 1:1 comparison but who would have been the closest to Curry in MJ's day? Reggie?

Nobody's forgetting anything. We all know how good Jordan was on both sides of the ball. LeBron is one of the best defensive players ever, and he can't guard Curry right now. Jordan and Pippen wouldn't shut him down. He's not Toni Kukoc.

I can't even think of one that is close. Curry is the best offensive player in the league and also one of the most efficient, is still getting better, and is one of the quickest, fastest, and smartest players in the league. He's miles better than Reggie ever was on his best day.

If I'm Curry, I'd rather have Lebron on me than MJ. I'm a huge Curry fan, I know he's the best shooter in the league..but he's NEVER had a guy like Jordan D him up. He'd smother him and talk shit the whole game. He'd shut him down.

I might've been wrong. This team is amazing. Curry is unbelievable.

By drafting better than anyone in the game. Steph Curry was drafted 8th. Johnny Flynn, Ricky Rubio were drafted ahead of him. There were also people that believed he and not Monte Ellis should have been traded. I never thought in a million yrs that Curry would be this good. Nowhere close.

Klay Thompson was drafted 11th. Look at the guys drafted ahead of him. Just think that a little over a yr ago people were thinking they were stupid for not packaging him in a trade to acquire Kevin Love. There isn't anyone now that would trade him straight up for Love.

Draymond Green was drafted in the 2nd Round. Festus Ezeli also drafted late. They have accomplished all of this without any major free agent signings or high draft picks.

They have built a team the best way you can build a team, by drafting successfully.

G.S. and the Clippers is by far the best rivalry in the NBA right now. I get the impression you could schedule a summer league game at either Fernwood Park, the Golden Dome on the West Side, or 63rd and Hayes and it would still be an absolute war. They generally don't like one another. Their games are must see T.V. if you like competitive basketball. I'm really hoping they meet up in the playoffs. It looks like G.S may have their number though.

From the highlights, it seemed like Paul was keeping them in it by himself

I know its still really difficult to go 54-9 ...but It feels like they are a lock to do it.

They aren't winning 72. It is impressive what they've done so far, especially without Kerr and Bogut, but we've seen 16-1, 20-2 type starts before. I'll still take San Antonio in the playoffs.

“I tell people all the time that record will never be broken,” insists Kerr. “It’s just impossible. That’s going to be like DiMaggio’s hit streak; it’s just not going to happen. Everything has to go right and even then it doesn’t matter. Everything went right for us last season and we won 67 games. Five games is a pretty big difference when you are talking about an 82-game season. Everything went right for us with the Bulls and we had Michael. That’s the thing; if we ever got to a point where we were going to lose or we looked like we were going to lose, he would just take over. And there aren’t guys like that anymore; guys like that don’t exist anymore. Kobe was pretty close; he probably came the closest. LeBron’s not like that. He’s phenomenal in his own right. But Michael was so unique, so gifted, so motivated, so talented that he sort of transcended everything and I just don’t see that happening again.” - Steve Kerr

Kerr is a smart guy.

We will see how smart Kerr is after Curry busts that record. Btw- in 10 years Curry will be ahead of Kobe on the all timer lists too. Your guy might not make the top 20 by 2030.

Kawhi, Anthony Davis, and Ben Simmons will pass Kobe by then too. Enjoy it while it lasts Nas.

No one that entered the league with or before Doc will be considered by the kids.

I think it will be made easier by all of the resting of players that is going on these days. It seems that every game someone is always out for one reason or another. They do look good. They are an excellent defensive team and they pass really well. It always seems like someone is always open. Having Curry and Thompson helps with spacing but Even Draemond Greens and Harrison Barnes are knocking the three ball down.

I think the only hope is that they get tired legs as the season progresses. Tired legs and those threes will start missing. Other than that forget it the way they are playing.
