Yes. Hence KS's statement that Moncrief is "already on the Bucks bench."

I wasn't sure Sidney Moncrief was even an assistant with the Bucks, OKC. That's on me.

OKC, you mention they have some young talent. Hammonds contract is up after this year, and it came out today that they are talking an extension, would you extend him? Also, if you were the GM, what do you do with Jennings and Ellis, Jennings is a restricted free agent and Ellis can opt out after this year. Also, they have to decide what they are going to do with Sanders. Just looking for your thoughts, thanks.

Blow the whole thing up

No one there is worth keeping...Jennings was a flash in the pan, Ellis is a clubhouse cancer.....

Ellis is gone even if they wanted to re-sign him. I think they have to keep Jennings, I mean they just can't let him walk for nothing, unless they are going to trade him. Sanders is a great role player to have on your bench, but he's pretty much like a Taj Gibson. He's nice to have around, but not a star.

Hawg, they have a good core of guys to try to compete with:

Jennings, Ilyasova, Udrih, Sanders, Harris, and Mbah a Moute...that's not a bad group. And I wouldn't give up on Ellis yet either. I'd try to keep this group together under another coach.

sorry Kid....outside of Jennings who is undersize and inconsistent - but still talented, sure- that is a middle of the road group if i ever saw one.
that group is destined to battle Indiana for the 7 seed for years to come

Why in the hell doesn't Skiles coach college basketball somewhere? It's obvious at some point he is tuned out by whatever NBA team he coaches. He could hire someone to recruit and he could coach.

They played a nice game last night after the 1st quarter. Jennings had 29 and 9, and there were 7 players in double figures. Sanders had 6 blocks I think. Beat a bad Phoenix team but after losing 4 in a row they needed a win.

It's nice to see Illyasova back in the starting lineup after Skiles buried him on the bench after a rough start to the season.

Yeah, but he needs to start playing better on a consistent basis. He was awful shooting to start the year, and even he admitted that he lost confidence. Guy has a tremendous upside and a very good understanding of the game just needs to bring it every game.

Ilyasova was instrumental in that comeback against the Bulls.

Skiles is the classic Point A > Point B coach. He preaches defense, but apparently can't teach it. He can get a shit roster out of the lottery. What else has he proven to do?

So yeah, he dished out a lot of assists to a team with a HOF Shaq, Nick Anderson, and Dennis Scott on the roster.

When you are ready to get to Point C (Championship), you fire the dead weight holding you back and bring in a Point C guy, in this case an unheard of Phil Jackson. Doug Collins is a A > B type of coach. When you are ready to move to the next level, don't hesitate to clear him out and bring in a guy from the CBA nobody heard of (Jackson).

Alright Hawger, let's go.

First things first, try to trade Gooden by the deadline, and if unsuccessful - amnesty him. He is scheduled to make 6.6 million for the next two seasons after this one. All I really need for him is an expiring contract and a second rounder.

That ain't happening, and I can't see the Bucks franchise ever paying someone not to play for them. To move him, you would probably need to take an equally bad contract back in return.

Andrea Barganani is available...

I like John Hammond, but this contract is a thing. Easily the worst decision he has made. I would take a new rack of basketballs for him.

Anywho, secondly try to trade Dalembert and his 6.7 million contract for an expiring contract and a second rounder.
He actually wasn't playing all that bad before Skiles inexplicably benched him for 18 straight games. He's a big big who some playoff team might see some value in.

If that can't be accomplished, Sam is in his last year of his contract, so worse comes to worse, just let it expire and free up cap space.

I'm thinking your value for our big stiffs is not equating to the rest of the league.

Good lord, he's making 7.8 mil/year? That might be worse than the Drew Gooden contract.

I actually like Beno, and think he is a solid back up point guard. Not for 7.8 million, but hopefully we can get that number down and bring him back. Good lord we are going to need some guards next year.

The great part about this deal is it allows the Bulls to keep Rip Hamilton. Is everyone else as excited for the Daequan Cook era as I am?

So the expiring contracts are:

Udrih 30
Dalembert 31
Dunleavy 32
Przybilla 33
Daniels 32

The only ones I would consider bringing back are Dunleavy and Udrih. And only at deep deep discounts.

I think its time to lock up Marquis Daniels with Drew Gooden money
