could it really be any worse ?
i don't want to infringe on Nas' bit here, but it's ridiculous that a supposed star player has his team sitting with a 4-20 record , in the EAST no less.

So is Rose now a genius for refusing to recruit him? Or did Rose actually recruit him after all? Are any of you still sad that that bum isn't a Bull?

This Knicks team makes the Isiah Thomas era in New York seem like a dynasty.

I believe he would be much, much better with the Bulls. I think the past 30 years or so in the NBA has shown that situation is a HUGE factor in how a player performs. You could probably say that about every sport to a certain degree, I guess, but it seems very obvious in the NBA. Derek Fisher looks more in over his head than Kidd did his first 25 games as a coach.

Kidd actually looks great right now in Milwaukee. He has a team that is pretty much the same roster as last year, and has them playing .500 basketball right now. If they manage to make the playoffs, I think he could win COY.

I think he's realizing how difficult it is to coach a player like Marshmelo. Like Kidd I think he will be fine. Steve Kerr has to be happy with his decision.

The guy has taken a team to the playoffs 10 out of 12 seasons. There isn't any amount of carrying that will get this collection of bums to the playoffs. They just lost to the Spurs without their four best players. They stink. Anthony hasn't played well this yr. If the guy is hurt and has been playing hurt then that may explain it. If he is on the downside of his career that may be it also. The same group that is criticizing when he couldn't get his team to the playoffs are the same group that was criticizing him when he did get his team to the playoffs. They are not good and it can' t all be Anthony's fault. I haven't heard you guys mention another player on the team. Anthony Davis is everyone's wonderboy and his team will have missed the playoffs for three seasons in a row. He actually has decent talent on the Pelicans and his team isn't going anywhere. Where is the criticism for him. Anthony took his team to the playoffs in the first nine yrs of his career. For all the criticism of the guy it just comes across as sour grapes because he didn't sign with the Bulls. I like the guy as a player but it isn't about that. Its about having opinions that make just a little bit of sense. To hear some talk you would think that he is the only reason that the Knicks are 4-20. There isn't a player on their roster other than he that could start for the Bulls. Have you ever though about that. I don't have time to go through the other rosters in the east. But I'm sure if you go through the other playoff teams in the East it would be pretty much the same situation.

I think that Derek Fisher is finding out how hard it is to coach. The Phil Jackson coaching tree has produced a number of losers also. While we are mentioning Kerr He isn't exactly running the triangle is he?

So Brandon Jennings is a better leader than Marshmelo? He was able to lead an awful Bucks team to the playoffs and he didn't fake an injury when things got bad.

Carmelo led teams to the playoffs 10 years running. Your idiotic logic infers that Brandon Jennings is better than Anthony? He can't even lead a Pistons team that has more talent than the Knicks to the playoffs. His leading a crappy bucks to the playoffs had more to do with conf. than his perceived greatness. The Bucks had a losing record that yr and I believed were a 7th seed. You may need to give the Anthony bashing a rest. You are coming across more and more as a just arrived immigrant that over compensates for their immigrant status by promoting their patriotism. You were a Melo lover until he resigned with the Knicks. You have no street cred on this one

How could Brandon Jennings lead them anywhere when Monte Ellis was the best player on the team? You have to step your game up.

Does that change anything? I've purposely said his name for a month and you finally Googled it. Monte Ellis is better than Marshmelo!

You sound like Bernstein. It's sad. Let me post some facts about Marshmelo just in case you forgot.

Nas wrote:
Marshmelo Playoff Facts:

In 10 trips to the playoffs his teams have lasted 5 or few games 7 times

His teams were a top 4 seed 5 times

In 66 total playoff games he's shot LESS THAN 42% from the field and 33% from 3.

He shoots the ball over 21 times but averages less than 3 assists.

His teams have been swept 3 times

His teams won only 1 game 4 times

His teams won only 2 games once

His teams advanced 2 times (Even in baseball that's bad)

He shot over 47% once

He shot under 40% 4 times

He shot under 37% 3 times

Under 34% twice

He has shot under 10% from the field in multiple games despite shooting the ball 15+ times

He's won 23 games and lost 43

I actually didn't google it simply remembered. If you haven't noticed I know a little about the game. I didn't pay much attention to that scintillating buck basketball and by your comments neither have you. Once again you have been called on one on of your falsehoods. I let you keep playing the Jennings angle until I felt like calling you on it.

It does beg the question as to why the many basketball savants that inhabit the board continually allow you to say idiotic things though. You obviously lack the acumen to actually talk the game

Now you're lying like Bernstein. I was at the game when the Bucks clinched a playoff spot with a loss to the Thunder. I was very much aware of who was on the team. Clearly you had to check and then lie about it like Bernstein would. You may want to take a nap.

long time guy - if you ever need a break from teaching Nas about the NBA, just let me know. It's exhausting work and you've been putting in overtime.

I'm glad someone else has picked up on it. The learning curve is far too steep on this one.

There you go again lying like your hero. You agreed with it and excused it because he was in the East. It's sad that you lie like Bernstein and don't read your own posts.
